GIGABYTE Joins Computex to Promote Emerging Enterprise Technologies

GIGABYTE Technology, (TWSE: 2376), an industry leader in high-performance servers and workstations, today announced its participation in Computex, which runs from May 24-27. GIGABYTE's booth will showcase the latest in accelerated computing, liquid & immersion cooling, and edge solutions, as well as provide an opportunity for attendees to get a glimpse at next gen enterprise hardware. GIGABYTE also announced plans to support the NVIDIA Grace CPU Superchip and NVIDIA Grace Hopper Superchip. With the new hardware innovations, GIGABYTE is charting a path to meet the requirements for the foreseeable future in data centers, accordingly many of those important technological modernizations that will be on show at Computex, as well as behind the NDA curtain.

Computex is unquestionably the world's largest computer expo, which has been held annually in Taiwan for over 20 years. Computex has continued to generate great interest and anticipation from the international community. The Nangang Exhibition Center will once again have a strong presence of manufacturers and component buyers encompassing the consumer PC market to enterprise.
Enterprise Products at Computex
Thanks to its building block design and product innovations, GIGABYTE has an expansive enterprise portfolio of servers and motherboards that are well-suited for HPC, AI, hyper-converged infrastructure, storage, and more. At Computex, GIGABYTE will have cutting-edge advancements at its booth.
  • Accelerated Computing: Purpose built servers that support diverse types of accelerators beyond PCIe cards, namely the NVIDIA HGX and AMD Instinct (OAM) configurations, will be on display. At the expo there will be servers for Ampere Altra, AMD EPYC, and Intel Xeon Scalable processors, as well as AMD Instinct MI250, NVIDIA HGX A100, and Xilinx Alveo accelerators.
  • Liquid & Immersion Cooling: Partnering with technological leaders such as 3M and CoolIT Systems, GIGABYTE creates systems for single phase immersion cooling and direct liquid cooling systems. Systems at the show include H-series servers with four nodes in a 2U chassis to be used with immersion and liquid cooling as well as a G-series server that harnesses liquid cooling for AMD EPYC processors and NVIDIA HGX A100 accelerators.
  • Edge Solutions: Scaled down servers are required for deployment on the edge where space is a major concern to realize the promise of 5G. The GIGABYTE E-series specifically addresses this need and offers support for x86 and Arm platforms.
Development of Platforms for NVIDIA Superchips
The dedication to improve from concept, through experimentation, to production has resulted in an incredible amount of product offerings for GIGABYTE's enterprise customers. New technology will always progress, and the development of data center solutions will continue into the next quarter century with changes that must be more environmentally friendly.

Breakthroughs in CPU and GPU architecture were revealed with the announcement of the NVIDIA Grace CPU Superchip and NVIDIA Grace Hopper Superchip for applications in HPC, AI, cloud gaming, and digital twins. Additionally, both superchips will be included in the NVIDIA-Certified Systems program. To support these new technologies, GIGABYTE is committed to developing servers for the new technology and will release them in accordance with NVIDIA's timeline for the first half of 2023.
