GIGABYTE Launches GeForce RTX 4080 Series graphics cards

GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co. Ltd, a leading manufacturer of premium gaming hardware, the GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4080 16 GB series graphics cards powered by NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture are going to be available for purchase on Nov 16. The new GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs have a quantum leap in performance, allowing gamers and content creators to enjoy ultra-high FPS gaming and improve the workflow efficiency. GIGABYTE provides both WATERFORCE and WINDFORCE thermal solutions for users, including AORUS XTREME water-cooled graphics cards, AORUS MASTER, GAMING OC, AERO OC, and EAGLE OC air-cooled graphics cards, which all meet the diverse requirements and needs.

AORUS WATERFORCE WB is the top choice for those who wish to build open-loop liquid cooling systems. GIGABYTE specializes in thermal cooling solutions, providing optimal channel spacing between the micro fins for enhanced heat transfer from the GPU via stable water flows. The sunk-designed copper micro fins shorten the heat conduction path from the GPU, so that the heat can be transferred to the water channel area quickly. Moreover, with the patented "Leak detection" technology, the built-in leak detection circuit covers the entire fitting and water block and can promptly alert users by flashing lights at the first sign of a leak, so users can deal with the leakage early and prevent any further damage to the system. Both the front cover and the backplate of the graphics card support RGB lighting, allowing gamers to customize their own style through GIGABYTE CONTROL CENTER (GCC) software.
The AORUS XTREME WATERFORCE all-in-one graphics card provides the best-in-class performance and quiet gaming experience through an easy-to-install solution. The 360 mm aluminium radiator comes with three 120 mm double ball bearing fans keeping the graphics card at low temperatures. The copper plate contacts the GPU and the VRAM directly, paired with the excellent water-cooled path design at the same time, the liquid not only passes through the GPU but also MOSFET and other critical components enhancing the thermals of the entire graphics card. Therefore, the GPU keeps outstanding performance at low temperatures, and it protects other components to work stable and secure for long-term use. In addition, the users can customize the RGB effect on the front, side, backplate and fans of the graphics cards. And, the 460 mm length tubes are built on the rear of the card which can avoid the interference with the CPU cooler, users can plan the cable management with ease.

AORUS WINDFORCE Series- AORUS MASTER
AORUS is the top-tier gaming graphics card pursued by gamers and fans. AORUS always brings an impressive - exquisite appearance and excellent performance, is what AORUS insists on to users. AORUS MASTER graphics card features the new fan blades and a special surface design, the WINDFORCE bionic shark fan increases the static pressure by up to 30% while reducing noise level by up to 3 dB at the same time. Paired with the vapor chamber in direct touch, multiple heat pipes, and the enlarged screen cooling vent at the back, the graphics card assures top-notch thermal performance, even at demanding loads.

AORUS is also bringing back an upgraded version of the signature triple-ring RGB lights, RGB Halo, being regarded as the RGB lighting leader in the market for many AORUS fans and DIY enthusiasts' preferences. This beloved feature takes advantage of the persistence of human vision and offering addressable lighting effects on the rotating fans. It will definitely make every build glow in style. Furthermore, the LCD Edge View on the side of the graphics card gives users another option to personalize their cards with texts, images, or gifs. One can also monitor critical stats, like power consumption, temperatures, fan rpm, etc.

GIGABYTE Series with WINDFORCE Cooling System - GAMING OC, AERO OC, EAGLE OC
The GAMING OC graphics card, a classic and popular graphics card from GIGABYTE, focuses on performance and stability making it suitable to many different target groups. The AERO OC graphics card with the white design is popular for designers and users who love simplistic style. The all-white design is very suitable for PC systems with light colors and minimal style as theme. And the LOGO on the card side can reflect the effect of rainbow light pattern due to the material. The EAGLE OC graphics card adopts some future elements to give a unique and personalized identification, such as universe-related graphics, signs, and geometry, et central, strongly shows itself on the card's outlook.

GIGABYTE air-cooled graphics cards all use WINDFORCE cooling system. It features three unique blade fans, alternate spinning, large vapor chamber with direct touch to the GPU, composite copper heat pipes, 3D active fans, and screen cooling to maximize the heat dissipation. The WINDFORCE fans utilize graphene nano lubricant, which extends fan life by 2.1 times, delivering nearly the lifespan of the double ball bearing while providing quiet operation. The onboard Dual BIOS switch allows users to choose between OC and SILENT mode based on their needs without software. Both modes offer the optimal settings tuned by GIGABYTE, providing a handy and more flexible functionality. Moreover, the GAMING OC graphics card also inherits the RGB Halo from AORUS, the AERO OC and EAGLE OC graphics cards are also built with RGB lighting, users can customize the RGB effects and colors via GCC software to create their own PC style.

6 different boards of the same GPU? What happened to base, OC'ed and H2O'ed only?

Gigabyte released a PR launching their RTX 4080 cards 8 days before they actually will. I guess now is the time, but the timing is interesting

Also there's no 6 different boards here, but much less. There's a lot of similarity even among the coolers

It is curious how the custom loop Waterforce sells for a premium but doesn't have that expensive metal hanging off it.

I have to admit that the water cooled boards do look good. Why no single slot?

Agreed. Actual photos would be nice.

I like the look of the white model though.
