1. What is SAND LAND?
SAND LAND is originally a popular manga created by Akira Toriyama, the author of DRAGON BALL and Dr. Slump. After being serialized intensively for a short period in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2000, the one-volume comic has gained worldwide popularity since its publishing. In desert world where both demons and humans suffer from an extreme water shortage, Beelzebub, Fiend Prince, and Rao, a small-town sheriff, and demon Thief form a team and set off on an adventure in search of the Legendary Spring somewhere in the desert.On their quest to find another oasis, Beelzebub, Sheriff Rao and his chaperone Thief will face more than just the heat. 2. Can you tell us more about the main characters?
Beelzebub—The son of Lucifer, the king of demons, Beelzebub is the Fiend Prince who enjoys video games and machines. He is about 2,500 years old and a self-proclaimed "evil demon" who plays pranks but never kills people as he actually has a heart of gold. He has physical abilities that are unmatched by humans as well as telepathic abilities that allow him to read people's minds and speak directly into their mind.Rao—An elderly sheriff. Although he is only a human, he has a strong sense of justice and sets out on a journey to find the Legendary Spring to save the people of Sand Land that suffer from the extreme water shortage. Extremely skilled in his tonfas, Rao fights with the strength of a man in his prime. He is also skilled in handling tanks, perhaps due to previous experience... It seems he is holding some secrets.Thief—Beelzebub's chaperone demon. He is good at stealing and has a worldly sense. He has knowledge of various things that happened in Sand Land. Thief is a little older than Beelzebub and his appearance is that of an old man, but he has a young curiosity about him.3. Can you tell us more about the game?
