Personally the last truly innovative cheap mobos I can recall were those combo socket 370/slot1 mobos from PCChips years ago and while indeed innovative they were also buggy crap that rarely worked right.
Cheap and stable but boring is fine IMO.
Also, Absolute Innovation -> abbreviates to A.I., just like artificial intelligence.
It's sad that reintroducing features from platforms 5-10+ years is 'innovation', but they seem to be one of the few this generation.
