Biwin Showcases Its Memory and Storage Solutions at CES 2025
Biwin, a PC memory, SSD, and flash storage product licensee for top-tier PC brands, launched its consumer brand in December 2024. Here at CES 2025, the TechPowerUp team headed over to Biwin's booth to check out up close the entire lineup of products ranging from SSDs in all shapes and sizes, and DRAM modules to memory cards, and card readers. The products on display were available on Amazon Japan in December 2024, followed by Amazon UK this January, and at the start of 2025, they will be available in Taiwan, APAC, Mexico, Latin America, and the Indian market.
Biwin showcased Black Opal premium SSDs and DRAM modules such as the Biwin Black Opal X570 PRO PCIe Gen 5x 4 NVMe 2.0 SSD capable of reaching read speeds of up to 14,000 MB/s. The Black Opal DW100 RGB DDR5 CUDIMM series stands out with 9200 MT/s and a CAS latency of CL42, a product tailored for professionals and enthusiasts. For mainstream users, Biwin presented SSDs, DRR5 memory modules, memory cards, card readers, and USB flash drives.Black Opal DW100 RGD DDR5 and Black Opal HX100 Heatsink memory modules come in 32 GB (2x 16 GB) / 48 GB (2x 24 GB) / 64 GB (2x 32 GB) kits. The DW100 can achieve speeds up to 8400 MT/s while the HX100 reach 7200 MT/s.In the M.2 2280 form factor, Biwin showcases SSDs with capacities from 512 MB up to 4 TB, with read speeds ranging from 3000 MB/s up to 13000 MB/s and write speeds from 3500 MB/s up to 14000 MB/s. Top performers SSDs are the Black Opal X570/X570H PRO.Biwin UDIMM and SODIMM DDR5 memory modules come with 16 GB and 32 GB capacities with 4800 / 5600 MT/s at 1.10 V, while the LPCAMM2 DDR5 memory module is offered in 16 GB / 32 GB and 64 GB variants with 8400 / 9600 MT/s at 1.05 V / 0.5 V.Biwin M350 is an M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD with capacities of up to 4 TB, speeds up to 6000 MB/s (read) / 5000 MB/s (write), and up to 1600 TBW. The PD2000 PSSD is a portable storage device using the Type-C USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface, and capacities up to 4 TB.Biwin MS160 and MS210 UHS-I microSD card capacities range from 32 GB up to 512 GB with speeds up to 210 MB/s (read) and up to 170 MB/s (write). They are complemented by Biwin RC210 dual-slot microSD/SD card reader with USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB-A interface. Biwin UD400 is a portable USB flash drive with up to 1 TB of storage and speeds up to 450 MB/s (read) and 440 MB/s (write).
