R0H1TDebatable plus emulation is getting better on most mobile devices these days. That's probably the biggest threat to arguably the biggest IP/copyright "abuser" in the industry!
The VAST majority of people don't want to bother with emulation. That is why the switch is so well sold. It's a great family consol that parents can use/play with kids without having to faff about with drivers, emulation or other headaches.

There is a large portion of gamers who like to play on the go and with friends (this is frequent in southeast Asia, much more so than American and Western European gamers). This is why the Switch is a portable-console hybrid. Emulation is possible but it pretty much ties you down to a high-powered notebook or desktop PC.

I know some people will never understand this but Nintendo is about the software: content is king. Videogames aren't ranked by the number of polygons or how many gigabytes of texture maps there are. Remember that wimpy ol' Switch shipped 150+ million units.

Based on the first look video, it appears that Nintendo is going to ship a new Mario Kart title when the hardware launches. My guess is that it will be an instant GOTY nominee even if it's not running at 180fps on a 4K monitor. If they launch another Animal Crossing, that too might be a candidate for GOTY.

Anyhow, I probably will wait until Nintendo updates the Switch 2 with an OLED screen (despite the fact I play in docked mode 90% of the time) in a few years. That also gives time to allow the Switch 2 game library to grow.

With Switch's well established success, it will be interesting to see how game publishers decide whether or not to include the Switch 2 platform in their distribution plans in the upcoming five years.

ChaitanyaHopefully it has OLED screen and hall effect sticks.
hall effect sticks are a lot more likely, dont place your bets on a oled screen though.
this console will probably launch may 22
