Upgrade and Name Change for IPTV
In an effort to better reflect the capabilities of IPTV, Microsoft has decided to rename it "Mediaroom." The name change comes along with an upgrade which allows users to share media content with other computers on the network. Users of Mediaroom will also be able to view multiple channels and programs on one screen. Currently more than 18 of the world's largest providers have agreed to offer Mediaroom as part of their digital TV package.
