edit: seems if i pick winxp uk it offers the above ,but if i pick win xp usa it will offer me the newer driver ,can i use the usa version or should i wait for the uk ver ?
The 'UK' version is the international one, with more languages. As long as you use english, US and UK will work on your system.
installed both the new nvidia driver + the physx drivers and it still says no supported hardware.
And yes, this driver is older than the 177.35 Beta driver, it takes time to go through WHQL certification.
They have already said that the driver for PhysX will be coming for the 8000 cards mid summer, so just wait, also you can run the new drivers with the physX driver, by using a moded INF file, and it does indeeed work on the 8800GT.
I can't get it to work on my 8800GS on WinXP though.
I've heard that works for 8800 users.
