Doing this now! This is really great, as now I don't need to save the DVD and can just redownload the game when needed (though I'll just save the DVD anyway). I wish that you could do this with all the games they sell on Steam (like COD4, Crysis, etc.).

It was $10 on steam during the New Year sale. I wish I would have picked it up but I was a little low on the cash at the time.

....I wonder if we may actually see the promised Linux client appear for the first time? I cannot believe how long this has taken.

Uhh, have you seen the graphics of UT3 on high vs the graphics of UT2k4 on high? While graphics are hardly everything, I would not consider them "nothing."

Well, i wasn't talking about the graphics, they obviously did a overhaul on the graphics and it definitely looks better, but as for gameplay, idk UT'04 still feels better.

04 > UT3 in terms of tactile feel and playability - it feels like a console port.
graphics are a nothing when they make it feel like you're firing ping-pong balls at men in spacesuits..
bring back characters that aren't GOW inspired :(
also, I hate steam, and will always hate anything that has an 'always-on' policy.
