Used a Dremel to cut holes to hide the cables better. Added some foam on the bottom inside of the case. Other than that, nothing too special. Just a clean case with goodies. I think I did the best I could with the cable management. The case is very limited.
I figured I'd setup a new case mod page since my old one is out of date. I've changed quite a few things since the first setup. Better cable management, Raptor drive, fans, misc. other tid bits.
Very nice man...Tell me something...Does the first vid card really touch that heat pipe? I keep reading reviews on that mobo and that seems to be a repetitive complaint.
How did you managed to secure that hd? I tried to put them in the reverse way like you did too, but mine keeps "loosing balance" (sorry cant describe better in english). Would appreciate if you could tell me. BTW, 8/10, I like your rig, nice and clean

There is very little clearance but its just enough. Fits fine with my 3870's. I'm not sure about other cards though.

I used a standard hard drive screw. Just one on each side. The drive bay is so tight it scratched my drives as I installed them. Aside from the screw, its a tight fit anyway. I used just one screw on each side.
I'm going all AMD for the next build (completion sometime in Nov or Dec of this year) In looking at the MSI mobo is it true that if you go with a 9850 phenom you have to have a different CPU in order to boot just to get the bios update to run the 9850?
Thanks Bytor. No stability issues at all and I like the motherboard. It will hopefully last me a while although the features of the SB700 chipset are making me think otherwise. :P
I need to do some of my own. Just waiting for the new rad to come in so I can have everything where it is going to go, that way I only have to do it once!!!
Thanks guys. I'm planning on a new case to be able to tidy things up more and have more space. I think I've maximized my current case without getting too crazy with the dremel.
like the case and i like your SRT4(car) too bad you don't live close to me if u did i would race you when i get my car done...(neon Sport dropping in a 2.4l rebuilt and boarded out also a 35PSI turbo etc)
How would I even stand a chance when your putting in a rebuilt motor and running 35lbs on whatever size turbo your going with!? I'm only spiking 17 and holding 15lbs on the stocker. :)
Your better off racing my friend with a stage3 and a bunch of goodies. His best time so far is 12.4 in the 1/4.

Since you guys brought it up the SRT conversations, lets enjoy a video. No pun intended, however this was my only encounter with a Stage III, car dynoed 365whp and 389 of torque.
At the moment I had a 50 trim at 19psi stock clutch, car made 371whp and 367 torque at the time, don't know why it wasnt a better race, kid can drive too!
the video could have been longer. but lets try to not hijack his thread... I give you 9/10 on the case.
I would have gave you a 10/10 if you would have painted the case.

Well, unlikely change in my rig happened this week. I sold my 3870's and now am temporarily using a 8800GTX with a Acclero X8800 cooler. Pics to come this week.

very nice.... clean as well those 3870's are rocking
Very clean cable management...
How do you like that MSI MB? Picking one up myself to mess with..
Working on a Rocketfish case mod now myself....
I like the motherboard actually. Has never given me any issues. Solid board if you ask me.
Nice rig
Great cable management, good specs and looks nice with the red LED's too
...no comments just love it...
I see your not using the PCI-E power plug next to the north bridge.
Have you noticed any stability issues from your video cards?
How do you like the MB?
Just need $400... :(

Once Deneb's get released, I will be rocking one of those as well. AM2+ pride! :)
I am a fan of the Z machine case too (cool industrial look), only prob is the price (close to the cost of a custom case)
