The mini-UPS battery provides emergency power if the main power source where to fail. For small form factor enthusiasts, the standard SFX power supply form factor has excellent combination of size, power, and affordability. At 100mm deep, however, the standard SFX PSU is also limited in fan size to 80mm. SeaSonic launched a new line of high-end PSUs that come in the color of the season - white, and offer the low noise levels people have come to expect from the company. The first model is the Snow Silent 1050W. It's body is completely white - even the AC receptacle and switch - with a frosted silver applique around the 120 mm fan's intake grille.
