Fan Control and Options

Fan speed is controlled by temperature, actual minimums dependent on fan ability.


The A-Tuning software utility offers plenty of fan-tuning options with customizable fan curves. BIOS fan control is somewhat less user friendly, but does allow for more control options. Fan control on the ASRock AB350M Pro4 is handled by a Nuvoton NCT6779D-R chip.


The ASRock AB350M Pro4 just has three fan headers that are spaced pretty evenly over the board. The first is just to the left of the DIMM slots, the second is just above the last PCIe slot, and the final header is near the bottom-right corner of the board. Four headers would have been nice, but I believe three to be acceptable for a board like the ASRock AB350M Pro4.
