Shape

The Ploopy Mouse is not a gaming mouse first and foremost; thus, the focus has been on comfort. To that end, the Ploopy Mouse is a genuinely large, right-handed ergonomic mouse. At the same time, it doesn't feel quite as large as it looks in hand, which is mostly due to the fact that its size mainly supports the hand by providing it ample space to rest on. The hump is centered, moderately high, and somewhat flat, again just supporting instead of forcing the hand into a certain position. From there, it slopes down and gets wider towards the back with the left side forming a thumb rest, and the right side a small ledge for the ring finger or pinky to rest on. The front is quite wide, but the middle isn't, so despite the large size, it should work for medium-sized hands as well. There are no sharp edges or harsh angles anywhere; instead, the shape seemingly flows along organically. The main buttons feature moderate comfort grooves. Overall, I'm positively surprised by the ergonomics of this design, although I don't consider it a wieldy shape.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Ploopy Mouse is mostly suited for palm and claw grip. It's a large mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, which should make it generally suit large and medium hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Ploopy Mouse very comfortable in claw grip.

Dimensions

This table includes the dimensions of the Ploopy Mouse and several other right-handed ergonomic mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and main buttons. Measurements with two decimals have been taken with a caliper, while those with one decimal have been taken with a ruler. For a full list of all measurements taken, please refer to this sheet compiled by an esteemed community member.
