	Asterisk: Asterisk is a software implementation of a PBX that allows attached telephones to call one another, and to connect to other telephone services, including PSTN and VoIP . Requires the Optware QPKG.
	Chrome for HD Station (TS-x69 only): With the help of Chrome, the QNAP NAS brings web content to your HDTV.
	DJ Station: DJ Station is a live audio-streaming service. You can set up your personal radio station by creating custom playlists and broadcasting your favorite music to your friends on Facebook. The DJ Station provides audio streaming by RTMP protocol, so you need to open both TCP port 80 and TPC port 1935 in a NAT environment.
	eyeOS: An open source web desktop following the cloud computing concept of leveraging collaboration and communication amongst users, eyeOS acts as a platform for web applications written with the eyeOS Toolkit. It includes a Desktop environment with 67 applications and system utilities. Not only does it give browser access on the PC, but it can also be accessed by portable devices via its mobile front-end.
	Gallery: enables the management and publication of digital photographs and other media through a PHP-enabled web server.
	Google Drive Sync: Access files and folders in your Google Drive with Google Drive Sync QPKG. Simply select a shared folder to synchronize with Google Drive, or use it as a backup destination.
	HappyGet: With HappyGet, you can easily back up YouTube and Vimeo videos and Facebook photos to the Turbo NAS. It also supports music playlists, all with the Chrome web browser.
	HD Station (TS-x69 only): The HD Station provides a portal for users to install various TV applications, such as XBMC and Chrome, on the NAS attached to the TV through an HDMI port, which allows you to watch multimedia content.
	iStat: CPU, memory, and disk-usage monitoring.
	Joomla, WordPress: build webpages and blogs.
	MLDonkey: opens the "donkey" world to QNAP NAS devices.
	Mono: a .NET Framework environment to run ASP-based websites on Linux.
	Music Station: Music Station is a web-based music player that gives users the ability to enjoy their music collection on the NAS. The music can be played by network streaming, or locally via a USB speaker or USB soundcard connected to the NAS. Music alarms can also be set to play at a scheduled time.
	MyNAS for HD Station (TS-x69 only): An application that allows you to enter the local NAS administration web page and view/change the NAS's functions and settings.
	Optware (IPKG): Optware allows for the installation of IPKG software packages on the NAS.
	Plex Media Server: Plex Media Server is the back-end media server component of Plex used to host the content and the plugins to then stream to Plex Media Center and Plex mobile app clients, either on the same machine, the same local area network, or over the Internet. This application is officially only available for QNAP NAS products with Intel x86 processors.
	PS3 Media Server: A DLNAMedia Server for the PS3 that is able to stream and transcode any kind of media file.
	phpMyAdmin: phpMyAdmin handles the administration of MySQL over the Internet.
	Photo Station: a web album for you to organize and share photos and videos with your friends, family, and the world. You can also share the photos by email or publish them to popular social networking websites, such as Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace.
	pyLoad: a fully featured download manager that allows you to download files from common one-clicking websites, such as RapidShare, Megaupload, and other video sites (e.g. YouTube), or through plain HTTP/FTP links.
	QAirplay: stream photo, music, and video from NAS to Apple TV. You may also use mobile app Qfile to browse media content on the NAS, playing the content on AirPlay-supported players.
	QUSBCam: allows users to connect a UVC-compliant (USB Video Class) USB webcam to the QNAP NAS and, with the help of the QNAP Surveillance Station, implement a budget surveillance system.
	QiTuneAir: With the iTunes Server alternative, the QiTunesAir QPKG audio files stored in the Turbo NAS can be streamed and played with AirPlay-enabled players, such as AirPort Express and Apple TV. You can easily control music playback with an installation of the "Remote" app on iOS devices.
	Logitech Media Server: an audio server designed for streaming music to Logitech devices over a network, allowing users to play their music collections from virtually anywhere with an Internet connection.
	Surveillance Station Pro: implements the Java Servlet and the JavaServer Pages (JSP) specifications from Sun Microsystems and provides a "pure Java" HTTP web-server environment for Java code to run in. Is currently only available for QNAP NAS products with Intel x86 processors.
	TappIn: With TappIn by GlobalSCAPE, users can safely access data directly from most operating systems, platforms, and mobile devices. TappIn’s innovative secure cloud pathway eliminates the need to upload, sync, or pay for additional cloud storage. With the TappIn service, QNAP Turbo NAS customers can securely access and share files of any size with encryption to safeguard content.
	Tomcat: Tomcat implements the Java Servlet and the JavaServer Pages (JSP) specifications from Sun Microsystems and provides a "pure Java" HTTP web-server environment for Java code to run in. It is currently only available for QNAP NAS products with Intel x86 processors.
	Transmission: an open source, volunteer-based BitTorrent client that allows users to download files from the Internet and upload their own files or torrents.
	TV Station: a digital TV center that allows you to watch live TV channels and recorded TV programs on the NAS. You can also set up schedules to record your favorite TV programs with the provided Electronic Program Guide (EPG) (a compatible USB TV tuner is required to use this function).
	TwonkyMedia: DLNA-compliant UPnP AV server software available to all modern operating systems and mobile platforms, such as Android, TwonkyMedia server can be used to share and stream media to most UPnP AV or DLNA-compliant clients and to non-UPnP devices through the HTML, RSS, and JSON supported front-ends.
	Video Station: This tool allows you to play your personal video collections online. Just upload your video collections to make them available from anywhere. You can also share your video collections with family members or friends on social networking sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.
	XBMC for HD Station (TS-x69 only): XBMC is an award-winning, free, open source (GPL) media player and entertainment hub for digital media. It allows you to play movies, photos, and music directly on your TV. Powered by XBMC, it transforms the QNAP NAS into a home entertainment hub and a media player!
	XMail: an Internet and intranet mail server with many features.
	YouTube for HD Station (TS-x69 only): a YouTube browser for your NAS.
