TOS - General Settings

The general settings menu includes the following options: Region & Language, Hardware & Power, Notification, and Security.


You can set the fan's operation to four different modes. We suggest you to use the Smart Fan setting.


The server can notify you when something goes wrong. You will find all relevant options to do so in this menu.


Updating software is a straightforward procedure you can take care of with a single click. You can also store the configuration of the OS to a file or restore the system to its default settings.

TOS - System Information

The System Information page includes four options: Hardware Information, Service Status, Resource Monitor, and System Logs.


Here's an overview of all active services.


The resource monitor offers a lots of options to check on the server's hardware utilization.


The system logs aren't as detailed as we expected them to be. For instance, there is no information on RAID syncing and building. TerraMaster should look into this since the system log can be a valuable tool for just about any user.
