It seems that the M290X is just a rebrand of the 7970M or 8970M GPU, with very little GPU speed bump. That's all.

but not all, you can search the internet some Intel Gaming laptop are fat also(Alienware, Asus ROG, MSI GT70)

and for Alienware, which Alienware that use AMD CPU or APU?
Besides those are DRS (Desktop Replacement System), not real laptops.
