CyberPowerPC Debuts Zeus Mini SFF Series With Eight Pre-Built Models

The next level of small form factor PC gaming has arrived when CyberPower Inc., a global manufacturer of custom gaming PCs, today unleashes its Zeus Mini desktop series. Each model, priced from $599-1479, is stuffed with enough AMD or Intel processing and graphics crunching power to rival any full-size desktop PC.

CYBERPOWERPC's new Zeus Mini is ready to tear into games that demand the most system resources. Customers can choose between three AMD's Kaveri A-series processor models (Zeus Mini-A), or five different 4th Generation Intel Core processor models (Zeus Mini-I) starting with a Core i5-4440 up to a screaming fast Core i7-4770K at 3.50GHz. All processors in the Zeus Mini series are mounted to a Mini ITX motherboard packed with the latest AMD and Intel chipset that deliver the latest technologies including 802.11ac wifi, PCI Express 3.0, and more. Both processor options include multi-core support and dual-channel DDR3 gaming performance with a minimum of 8 GBs memory that is expandable to 16 GBs.
The Zeus Mini can accommodate full-size dual GPU video cards to deliver the realism and immersion that gamers demand. Customers have the option of AMD Radeon R7 and R9 series for Zeus Mini-A models, which feature AMD's GCN architecture and next level immersion through TrueAudio technology. Intel-featured models include the Intel HD 4600 GPU or NVIDIA's GeForce GTX Series graphics with Kepler GPU architecture.

The Zeus Mini has ample storage space with 500 GB to 2 TB SATA III 7200 RPM hard drives, depending on the model, and an 8X Slim DVD/RW optical drive on all models.

The Zeus Mini more than doubles the cooling performance over standard SFF gaming systems with its ability to install 240mm liquid cooling solutions. The extra cooling support ensures maximum performance and minimal heat and noise.

The Zeus Mini models include all the connections you need to hook up all your performance gaming peripherals. The series features three standard USB 3.0 ports (two in front) for fast data transfers to external devices. Also included is a HDMI 1.4 port for output to big screen TVs, high-definition gaming monitors, and other displays. The High Definition Audio port, which includes digital S/PDIF, lets you hook up home entertainment systems or your favorite speakers and headphones to enjoy crisp, clear audio.

The Zeus Mini supports next gen 802.11ac Wi-Fi for high-speed wireless connections as well as Bluetooth 4.0 technology for connecting peripherals, keyboard and mice.

The Zeus Mini can be fully customized. The internal components are easily swappable and upgradeable because the Zeus Mini-ITX custom gaming chassis accommodates standard PC components. The chassis measures 4.4-inches (l), 17.4 inches (w) and 13 inches (h).

The Zeus Mini models include:
All CYBERPOWERPC systems are assembled and supported in the USA. Every system is meticulously built including precise cable routing to ensure optimal airflow and a clean aesthetic appearance. CYBERPOWERPC loads every system with Microsoft Windows 8.1 for an enhanced gaming and multimedia experience. All CYBERPOWERPC desktop gaming systems include an industry-best 3-year limited warranty.

Can't say I come across such a SFF tower cases in the aftermarket that provides for a full-height graphics card using a PCI-E riser cable before, or I just never really looked? I've seen Dell Optiplex with that bracket that was like a right angle adapter, then Falcon N.W. had a chassis much like this unveiled sometime back, but as DYI chassis I can’t say I heard of one?

Might be a configuration for the next time the wife’s desktop gets up-dated. Would be convenient to work off a standard ATX (86mm) PSU, build a common/cheap m-ATX mobo, while a laptop DVD drive to manage space.
