$50,000 worth of Shadow Warrior 2 Game Keys Free with GeForce Experience

Don't fancy GeForce Experience? Well, NVIDIA might have just made an argument for you to at least give it a try.

Shadow Warrior 2 has just left the oven (with no DRM) to early rave reviews, both with critics and on Steam, and now, a digital copy can be yours for the low, low price of $0. In a move to bolster the ranks of its GeForce Experience users, NVIDIA is now giving away copies of the game - and all you have to do is register your account with NVIDIA, download the latest GeForce Experience 3.0, login, and cross your fingers that you're one of the randomly-chosen lucky winners. If you already are registered, though, fret not - just make sure your app is updated and make sure to log in.

GeForce Experience allows you to not only have automatic, profile-based optimizations for your library of games, but also make use of its ShadowPlay game recording and capture software, among other features.

Without a comma, that heading might imply there are two game keys worth a total of $50,000 ;)

I have a rather extensive game library, nearly all of which are installed. About 700+ games. Only 10% (72, to be precise) are supported. So there are those that don't see any value in what GeForce Experience offers, never mind that you now need to login in to get the benefits, and that other tools offer the same recording fgunctions and anyone can change game settings. :p

However, I do use GeForce Experience. It is a bit annoying at times.

I tried to use it to capture screenshots ins BF4 earlier this week, to compare visual quality between a GTX970 and a 1070 (they are actually quite different). I ended up hitting PRTSC and using MS Paint. :p

So, what? Only for newly registered users or even for existing ones who already use GFE 3.0 ?

Lets hope old users can also participate, i dont wanna make a new acc.

But for real, this is bit unfair, lot of people will make fake accounts to increase their chances.

I have thousands of games, and even less are supported, but I like free stuff, shadow play and I'm not a drama queen. ;D

But as you point out, people actually do have choices, scary but true!

If you're registered already, all you have to do is update your GeForce Experience app and make sure you log in.

I just wonder why they haven't bundled GFE v3.0 into their latest driver packages, I mean I don't use it, but it seems odd that the drivers still come with v2.11.4.0.

I think your Avatar perfectly illustrates my answer: "I have no idea."

You know, this is a VERY limited giveaway. If my math is right, it equals 1,250 copies of the game. o_O

i'd rather have task scheduler tasks than sleeping processes in memory.

With 32GB of RAM, I frankly don't really care. Can't even remember when was the last time I checked memory usage in Task Manager. But is annoying to manage Task Scheduler if there is tons of crap inside it. I do use that to manage apps starting with admin rights, like Crystal Disk Info, CoreTemp/RealTemp and bunch of others etc. And I don't necessarily use them all the time so I'm often in the Task Scheduler...

Vayra86It's over 9000!
Are you talking game copies or something else? If it's game copies, I divided $50,000 by $39.99, which is what it goes for on GOG (which is where the game keys are).

nVidia payed (most likely) the developer to use their tools, also probably bought those 50K keys from the developer, so is a win-win situation for everybody, including the users. ;)
