Graphics Cards Shipments to Pick Up in 2H-2020: Cooling Solution Maker Power Logic

Power Logic, a graphics card cooling solution OEM, in an interview with Taiwan tech industry observer DigiTimes, commented that it expects graphics card shipments to rise in the second half of 2020, on the backs of new product announcements from both NVIDIA and AMD, as well as HPC accelerators from the likes of Intel and NVIDIA. NVIDIA is expected to launch its "Ampere" based GeForce RTX 30-series graphics cards, while AMD is preparing to launch its Radeon RX 6000-series "Navi 2#" graphics cards based on the RDNA2 graphics architecture. Power Logic has apparently commenced prototyping certain cooling solutions, and is expected to begin mass-production at its Jiangxi-based plant towards the end of Q2-2020; so it could begin shipping coolers to graphics card manufacturers in the following quarters.

Is it just me or is the end of 2020 shaping up to be Epic in the PC space with new GPUs from AMD and Nvidia. We also have new CPUs coming out and the Crysis (or Diablo) of our generation is releasing in October in Cyberpunk 2077.

I seriously think that both AMD and Nvidia will use Cyberpunk as a basis to release their products. The hype for that game is so huge that I would be shocked if one of them did not use that Game to market their new GPU.

A Tony Hawk Remaster sounds crazy. If that's the case don't forget about the Avengers game. If Spiderman is anything to go by it too should be an Epic release. That and more means that this thread is 100% correct in terms of the prediction of GPU sales for the 2nd half of 2020.

I hope so. But more and more, when I read this type of predictions, I have the feeling these people are either out of touch with reality or suffer from wishful-thinking syndrome.
Because, as I see it, by the end of 2020 there'll be misery and mayhem across the world's major cities.

Only if we get hit by something far worse than this, or completely and entirely blow up our hospitals.

Considering how NV is actually throwing down like they are feeling some heat. AMD is finally bringing out Navi not the Beta edition...

It might be the first time in a long time I grab a GPU shortly after launch. Hopefully the prices are reasonable.

Hot stuffs be coming.
