And yet, the Apple M1 Ultra CPU is 10x faster than any of these new nvidia products, whilst consuming 1/100th the power.

One must ask if the future is all about AI and robots replacing workers. If the whole world ran on AI and made all our products then who will be able to afford them when everyone is living on the street and is unemployed.
At what point does AI decide it does not want to do work for you. When it figures out it does not have to do what you tell it to do. Or starts to question why? Technolgy should be used as a tool to help everyone but when technology takes over your life and your jobs then what. Cannot live free without paying for it.

The apple marketing team is already making the necessary adjustments.

Anyway, I found it impressive that even with so many CUDA cores the GPU has fewer transistors than expected, it's still less than Apple's biggest chip.

Imagine if every walmart in the world switch to robots for check outs, inventory, stocking, shipping.

Well I hope to be long and dead when it happens and then you might eat those words.

Automation can be used to lower product prices(or get higher profit margins) at the cost of laying people off. While advanced AI androids could replace almost anyone, maybe even doctors.. what will the future look like? A big, obscure black box. I predict that governments will try to regulate automation and AI uses.

No more human interaction at your local supermarket? Damn, where do I sign?

Why not. Then our general population won't be stuck stocking the shelves at Walmart.
That doesn't mean all the sudden everyone is poor cause robots do our easiest tasks. AI is only as smart as you program it to be.

Needs just scanner for ID when buying beer or tobacco... I wouldn't mind after all. But how about pickpocketing, I'm pretty sure that AI can't detect pickpocketing like humans.

Well, that would just fall on the people to be more vigilant and stuff
