Intel Core i9-12900KS Starts Selling on Newegg for $799
Intel started selling its new flagship desktop processor, the special edition Core i9-12900KS, on Newegg for USD $799. Based on the highest bins of the "Alder Lake-S" C0 silicon, the chip has the same configuration as the i9-12900K, with 8 P-cores, 8 E-cores, and 30 MB of L3 cache; but higher clock speeds. The chip offers maximum Turbo Boost frequencies of 5.50 GHz on the P-cores, compared to 5.20 GHz for the regular i9-12900K. The Newegg listing mentions the i9-12900KS to have the same power limits as the i9-12900K, with 125 W processor base power (PBP) and 241 W maximum turbo power (MTP), and not the previously reported 150 W PBP with 260 W MTP.
Update 20:50 UTC: And the listing on Newegg has vanished, which probably has to do with Intel's embargo ending only next week. Sales are supposedly starting not before April.

800.us isn't exactlly a smart buy seeing 12900k is now 550.us.
Last item I bought from newegg was z490 apex
If asus wasn't factory sealing mother boards now I would not of bought it from the egg.

Thanks
Likely not
Many have been hosed by newegg on mother board rma so not uncommon
Over using thermal paste well GN is well known for that one too
I've seen GN's plastic cpu storage case he or who ever puts them in it don't clean the cpu's before putting them in it and
Every video preview shows applying TG thermal paste like most apply tooth paste on a tooth brush
Like the people thinking eating a 4-600.us board would taste good though
Think the newegg just did it to the wrong fellow this time
If you watch all 4 videos, (takes significant time, I know) you'll see that this problem was endemic to Newegg as GN received many hundreds of reports from people of similar things happening to them. Clearly they were systematically screwing over customers until they picked on the wrong one, GN, as you say, when their scam then unravelled.
Yeah I can see both sides without all the videos
Newegg is not somewhere I would buy a lot of stuff from especially not mother boards only exception I already stated asus factory seals mother boards now or at least z490 so I took a chance on it seeing amazon didn't have one.
I usually only buy memory if sold and shipped by egg it's always a lot cheaper than amazon/...
Same price as 12900k when it was released well 790.99 I think.
Yeah 12900k is 600.us to round up.
12900kf looks to be 574.us can't round up that far lol

12900k was 200.us more than it should of been selling for
So is now 12900kf so only number you got right was 200$ otherwise GN was correct the chips are stupid overpriced 600.us at best but scalpers, scalp because people have more dollars than sense :kookoo:
12900k is now selling for 550.us now
Yeah 11900k was purely 2 less cores than 10900k and intel trolling amd for the highest single core scores
In other words should of never existed but intel being intel never saw a sucker $$ they didn't want
The cover of the video for 11600k, CPU with MSRP $262
GN explain how 11900k is not bad cpu, but badly priced
watch at 19:30
GN explain how 11900k was bad product and even if it was $200, not the actual price minus 200, but with real MSRP of $200, it again would be a bad product
watch at 3:40
Yeah I've been off youtube for a long while now.
