TheLostSwedeNo need to be sorry, but they've launched over a 100 different phone model.
Seems like they've only been around since 2018 or so.

For what looks like an utterly generic OEM laptop with a mildly interesting paint job, they did manage to write some impressively cringeworthy ad copy.

Yea, copy that sounds like a 2 year old wrote it, or someone who was too lazy to use a spell/grammer checker after translating the words from whatever their native language is into english :D

Hello TECNOT, this is 2022 calling, and we are saying that GOOGLE is your friend, hehehe :)

Man alive press releases like these always frustrate the hell out of me. I know English is an absolute hell to learn, but just hire like...one marketing person who's a native speaker for the region to vet your marketing. This goes out to the world. Spend a little money to get your messaging right. And not even just the language, but be willing to listen when you have someone to tell you "this sounds exactly like someone in their fifties came up with it."

DTheSleeplessI know English is an absolute hell to learn,
i always laugh at that ... try that with French or German or even worse any Asian language ...

English? an absolute hell?
even with all the slangs it's by far the most logical and easy language to learn ... i learned its base when i was 10 watching movies and TV in bicanal (French/English) and then just had 6 month in secondary school.
well ok, i might have ease with languages learning tho ... (although i am mainly trilingue with French/German/English )
but the broken English of that PR made me laugh harder

@P4-630 "Tecno Mobile is a Chinese mobile phone manufacturer based in Shenzhen, China. It was established in 2006. It is a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings."
also that brand name is :ohwell: .... Tecno Pro is a cheap ski gear brand  Tecno is a cheap smarphone brand that do SKUs with average specs that even twist known model name calling some Pova (Nova? well yeah they skipped the O in the letter swap order because Oova would sound silly, right? ... actually Pova sound silly ... Pavo eventually .. ) their UI is nammed HiOS .... (blergh, seriously?) their latest "flagship" the Camon 19 Pro 5G use a Dimensity 810 (not a bad SOC per se ) at the price of ₹21,999/~275.70$ again not bad price given the specs, it would even be ok if they did not try to sell them as "the ultra next best flagship ever" and sold them as what they are, okay'ish midranger

they have presence in more than 60 country, yeah ... mostly Africa and India iirc

also Transsion is behind the brand Itel too ...

also i am glad i am not a Gen Z Intel Core i5-1155G7 is a bit .... light for me, even for an ultra portable, but i understand the name "Megabook" ... because "Minorbook" would sound, albeit true, deterent
