NVIDIA Could Give TITAN RTX Another Swing as Maxed-Out AD102 in an Unabashed 4-slot Monstrosity

A report by Moore's Law is Dead claims that NVIDIA is preparing to launch a new TITAN RTX halo product, based on a maxed-out 4 nm "AD102" silicon. Where does this put the RTX 4090 Ti? Somewhere in between the RTX 4090 and the TITAN RTX Ada, as NVIDIA gave itself plenty of segmentation headroom with the AD102 silicon, by using just 128 out of 144 SM physically present on the silicon, besides the same 21 Gbps GDDR6X memory as the previous-generation. NVIDIA's options with the new TITAN RTX include enabling all 144 SM (18,432 CUDA cores), and using faster 24 Gbps memory, giving the silicon (1152 GB/s memory bandwidth), a stock power-limit closer to the 600 W design limit of the 12VHPWR power connector (RTX 4090 stock typical board power is 450 W).

Moore's Law is Dead also posted what they claim to be the first real-world pictures of the upcoming TITAN RTX Ada. The card is an unabashed 4-slot enlargement of the dual-axial flow-through RTX 4090 Founders Edition, with the cooler capable of higher thermal loads. TITAN RTX cards are marketed as first-party Founders Edition cards only, and not through NVIDIA's AIC board partners as custom-designs. A maxed out AD102, with higher clock speeds, higher power-limit, and faster memory, should be unassailable for custom-design RTX 4090 cards, if NVIDIA wants to sell this card at the kind of prices its last TITAN RTX product sold at—USD $2,500.

ARFI can feel your pain.
This is an absurd made by pure psychopaths.

If RTX 4090 was considered "large", now this is another level of absurd requiring all new cases, all new power supply units, all new patience by the potential users (I hope there will be next to none, though).

So the one marked 4090 straight up does not appear to be a 4090 at all. A 4090 has the Circe along the edges like the left side of the one makes rtx new titan

BwazeIn a world where you can buy more expensive watches, CD players or even turntables I don't see what would change with one more boutique product, priced to the stratosphere for the sake of being exclusive alone.

I mean, ordinary plebeian telephones are approaching the cost of RTX 4090, what kind of exclusivity is that? Meanwhile, you can buy Falcon Supernova iPhone 6 Pink Diamond for $48.5 Million! What should a man with such a phone game on, ordinary commoner's card?

Inconceivable!
Common man? No no no, there is no such thing anymore, and you have a point, I think nVidia should price each unit @ $2 Billion each, just to be sure, very exclusive.

No.
The difference is that those are luxury items and this here only shows nvidia's weakness to design efficient GPUs, so it has to throw the whole brute force it can actually find.
This weakness developed the gigantism which causes all types of problems, common sense to begin with.

I doubt anyone will showcase this as a sign of their social "status"! :kookoo:

You can doubt, but Nvidia's bragging of sales figures of RTX 4090 kind of proves you wrong. I mean, on many outlets it's now most sold graphics card - and they don't even sell the base price models, only the scalped ones, because $1600 isn't enough apparently.

I find this hard to believe. The 4090 isn't exactly a "hot" card, so why would slightly larger silicon need a cooler twice the size?

If this is true then it's Jensen creaming about 4090 sales and imagining a $2500 4090Tie and $5000 Titan selling out instantly also.

I don't blame him.. people buy it.

Nvidia make's dreams happen, mostly insane retro gamer's dreams, or "insert name" power company shareholders dreams but at least someone's.

Strangely, he got the naming of the card right despite the age of the original video. He also got it right the the card will increase in size, but not that much as in photo.

You know that's a bookstore? :p

But I misremembered. The headlines were that RTX 4080 was unexpectedly most sold GPU in several PC equipment stores, most notably Newegg:

Stop reposting bullshit please. We don't know what data is behind this supposed #1 seller position. They're not transparent about it.

All this is, is hype train peer pressure 'buy now' marketing. Can we PLEASE stop being naive.

BwazeBut it never had the full Quadro features. Sure, on hardware side it was impressive, and if you only needed that, you could buy Titan - but various driver "optimisations" (often just artificial product segmentation by locking out gaming cards) remained Quadro only.
Indeed, they still need to milk companies like Pixar.

Might as well make it a service where the buyer always gets NV's fastest card, premium support, and, once a year, dinner with Jensen's favourite jacket.

DemonicRyzen666$2,500 lol yeah right. They'll probably try $4,500 or $5,000 & mak them a limit a edition.
4090 starts at 2000EUR here in Finland so yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if its MSRP would be 3000-3500EUR.

With traditional Titan style, it could have 48GB VRAM and the upcoming 4090 Ti could have 24GB. Just speculating.

That's nothing compared to 7990 XTX²(2xN31) running a random RT demo @ 200fps in AMD labs.

Exactly this. I have direct comms with NV and most "Western" AIBs (eg Asus, Gigabyte, MSI), and all the distributors in South Africa, and not one is impressed by sales volumes.

Holy shit that card is huge, smh why not just make the FE card an AIO GPU Waterblock at this point instead of creating gigantic GPU heatsinks for them which at this point i would not be surprised if there are now stories where the GPU is too heavy and falls and rips the entire Motherboard PCIE x16 Slot off with it lmao.

Are you insane? The jacket will come with bodyguards to ensure its safe return. Each bodyguard will have FE 4090s to clobber anyone threatning the jacket.
