  • Experience the ultimate homage to retro shooters, blending stylish visuals with fluid, modern FPS gameplay
Someone else is just as enthusiastic about the game as we are - Rahul Kohli, actor and devout Ultramarines fan. But unlike us, Rahul was asked by developers Auroch Digital to voice the main character. We sat down for a chat, to find out what it was like to play a Space Marine. "The folks at Auroch Digital got in contact with my team and asked if I would be interested in voicing the protagonist." Rahul said. "It was an immediate yes! There's definitely a particular vocal style that Space Marines have across the various forms of media. Before my recording session I was sent a Warhammer Bible which has the dos and don'ts for portraying such a character."

Luckily, there's a wealth of Warhammer media out there, so finding inspiration wasn't hard: "I watched Angels of Death," Rahul explained "and I'd recently played through Space Marine, so I had good vocal reference. There's this almost regal or Shakespearean tonality to the way they speak. I just wore an Ultramarines T-shirt, some heavy boots, blasted my lines into the mic, and crossed my fingers."

Stay tuned to Warhammer Community for more from Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun as we get closer to release, and if you haven't watched the trailer twice already, go back and give it another blast! You can also share your own conversions of Malum Caedo on our social media pages.
Boltgun will be available from May 23, on Steam, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
