Loco Motive looks interesting amongst the lot and can be a good game if executed well.

I've wishlisted Stalker 2; the first game was a slow burner but it brought some originality to the genre, I'm not sure if Stalker 2 can do that, but if it can then it's a must-buy. If it doesn't manage that, then it's still going to be worth a purchase on sale, if only for the nostalgia.

My Pick of the Week is Loco Motive. What can I do, I'm a sucker for pixels and puzzles! The exaggerated art style and offbeat humor feel just like LucasArts adventure classics. I also like the concept of playing three different characters whose stories intertwine.

Being a fan of turn-based tactics, my other choice is Forgotten but Unbroken. The inclusion of new mechanics sounds promising, and the fact that the characters speak their native language adds to the realism.

again,, realize its not the same people making it...and why that is the case, so idk how much honest nostalgia one can call it

Yeah, that's a large part of why I included it.
There was another game that appeared to have a bigger following, but it was a card based rougelike and those games are never popular here.

Finally Stalker is here very soon. If the game is good and runs with out to much trouble, it will be my pick.

However i will be waiting to buy it and se what reviews and people buying it say first. To many games these days comes with to many bugs and problems. I will not support badly optimized games, not before it is fixed at least.

Just completed Shadow of Chernobyl, for the first time (with ZRP) having bought it when it came out - the DVD had been sitting on my "to play" pile for nearly 20 years. Great game, but 20 years of bug fixes and stuff, and it was not 100% but 110% fun. So my thoughts are I might pick up 2.0 maybe 2030ish and play it on max without my GPU fan coming on, just like now! Not what the developer wants, but hey....
