Microsoft Launches Clothing Line, Called Softwear

The following news story is not as much hardware related as our site usually does, but it is funny enough to make your whole week better and even good enough to provide with clothing some of you. Microsoft, the monopolist in software industry, has announced a new line of clothing, in partnership with rapper Common, called Softwear. I'm not joking, now you can be 101% original by wearing Microsoft clothes. It's Microsoft's turn to set the trend in clothing;
"This collection inspired and created by Common exhibits the parallels between two groundbreaking movements of the 80s: personal computing and hip-hop. Microsoft, and Common, pioneers of their respective crafts, pushed the envelope of what was expected and even what was accepted. Through lyrical expressions and enabling connectivity, the world was changed. That's something worth celebrating."
The first shirts will be sold via Urban Outfitters, with more products being sold at specialty stores in New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Atlanta. Take a look at the Softwear official site.

Imagine a day in the future, where you wake up and get off your microsoft bed, flush your teeth infront of the microsoft mirror ( who tells you suggestions what toothpaste to use etc ), wear your microsoft clothes, eat your microsoft breakfast, get on your microsoft car and drive to your microsoft job!

Softwear is a great move by the company. It will make a reasonable profit and has a chance of incorporating technology into our daily lives. I wouldnt mind a pair of those Nike runners from back 2 the future. Maybe a jacket that heats you up when its cold, or cools you down when its hot would come in handy. Hopefully their operating system could eventually fit onto a watch/telephone/gps/internet thingo that link to your monitor or tv or project an image (With 250Tb) or is that hardwear ?

I would never in my right mind wear softwear branded clothing and will forever look down upon those that day. Mwahahahaha!
