AMD's RV711 GPU uses the TeraScale architecture and is made using a 55 nm production process at TSMC. With a die size of 73 mm² and a transistor count of 242 million it is a very small chip. RV711 supports DirectX 10.1 (Feature Level 10_1). For GPU compute applications, OpenCL version 1.1 can be used. It features 80 shading units, 8 texture mapping units and 4 ROPs.
