The Arc A380M is a mobile graphics chip by Intel, launched on January 24th, 2023. Built on the 6 nm process, and based on the DG2-128 graphics processor, in its ACM-G11 variant, the chip supports DirectX 12 Ultimate. This ensures that all modern games will run on Arc A380M. Additionally, the DirectX 12 Ultimate capability guarantees support for hardware-raytracing, variable-rate shading and more, in upcoming video games. The DG2-128 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 157 mm² and 7,200 million transistors. It features 1024 shading units, 64 texture mapping units, and 32 ROPs. Also included are 128 tensor cores which help improve the speed of machine learning applications. The card also has 8 raytracing acceleration cores. Intel has paired 6 GB GDDR6 memory with the Arc A380M, which are connected using a 96-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1550 MHz, which can be boosted up to 2000 MHz, memory is running at 1937 MHz (15.5 Gbps effective).
Being a mxm module card, its power draw is rated at 35 W maximum. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Rather it is intended for use in laptop/notebooks and will use the output of the host mobile device.
