Cubitek Launches ''Magic Cube'' Modular Case Series

AeroCool Intros Vs-4 ATX Mid-Tower Case Targeting Bang-for-Buck Price-Point

AeroCool released a new ATX mid-tower case for gamers on a shoestring budget, the Vs-4 looks the offer most high-end features for an attractive price of just €38. Measuring 433 (H) x 185 (W) x 495 (D) mm, the Vs-4 makes clever use of 0.5 mm thick SECC steel, acrylic, and ABS plastic to keep the price down. It sports a matte black exterior overall, with a black interior. There are four exposed 5.25" bays, one of which can transform into 3.5" by changing the bay cover. There are six internal 3.5" bays spread across two cages of 2 bays and four bays, which are detachable to make room for long graphics cards or long PSUs.

Front panel includes basic connectivity, USB 2.0 and audio.

AeroCool Intros XPredator ATX Full-Tower Case

AeroCool announced its latest PC case, the PGS B series XPredator. This ATX full-tower makes sure you never run out of room for extra large motherboards such as the EVGA X58 Classified 4-way SLI or the Gigabyte X58A-UD9, multiple water cooling loops, and a heap of hard drives. The case measures all of 600 (H) x 234 (W) x 555 (D) mm, mostly making use of steel. Corsair Announces Retail Availability of Graphite Series 600T Mid-Tower Case

Corsair, a worldwide designer and supplier of high-performance components to the PC gaming hardware market, today announced the general retail availability of the Graphite Series 600T mid-tower computer case. Debuted at Computex in June, 2010, the 600T features dual 200mm fans, eight PCI-E expansion slots to accommodate multiple graphics cards, and plenty of room for large, power-hungry components.

Scythe Announces the Gekkou and Gekkou Silent Series Cases

Japanese manufacturer Scythe is officially releasing its second PC Case under the name "Gekkou". This new Midi-Tower PC Case is available as Standard as well as Silent version whereas both versions can be purchased with a black or silver brush-finish as well as mirror-finish front panel. All models are manufactured of solid steel which is painted black from the outside. The PC Case dimensions are 7.717 x 20.67 x 16.93 in (196 x 430 x 525 mm) where the weight is varies depending on model from 14.55 lb (6.6 kg) to 16.42 lb (7.45 kg).

AeroCool Intros Strike-X Multichannel Touchscreen Fan-Controller

Close to month after releasing the Strike-X ATX mid-tower case, AeroCool released a new touchscreen multichannel fan-controller under the same banner. The Strike-X fan-controller occupies two 5.25" drive bays on your case (designed to look best with the Strike-X case), and has a fuzzy-looking LED display that looks like one of the touchscreen computers from the retro generation of the USS Enterprise (in which William Shatner plays Capt. NZXT Readies Crafted Series Vulcan Micro-ATX Case

NZXT's newest creation is the Vulcan. This micro-ATX tower case, as the company claims, is 40% more compact than ATX full-towers, and is designed to be LAN-portable. Being part of its Crafted Series cases, the Vulcan got its fair share of aesthetics that come from sharp industrial looks, all-black interiors, and extensive ventilation. The case measures 380 (H) x 180 (W) x 406 (D) mm, weighing 5.9 kg. It supports micro-ATX form-factor motherboards with nearly all the upper region of the motherboard tray having an opening to help handling certain types of CPU coolers. The case has two 5.25" drive bays, and four 3.5" bays in two parts. Between these two parts there's room created for long graphics cards. Ventilation includes 120 mm fan front intake, two 120 mm top exhaust, 92 mm rear exhaust, and a large 200 mm side panel intake. The Vulcan could be rolled out next month.

Thermaltake Launches V5 Black Edition LAN-Portable PC Case

Thermaltake, leading DIY chassis brand, is launching the latest edition to their mobile chassis series, the V5 Black Edition. The V5 Black Edition is catering specifically to the needs of LAN party enthusiasts and people on the move, who frequently have to schlep their PC along. Silverstone SUGO SG07 ITX Case Stuffed With A Radeon HD 5970

With the rise of ITX boards and their popularity, Silverstone is expanding their Sugo line-up with the SG07. The high-end ITX chassis is aimed at the LAN Party Gamer on the go, and ships with a 600W power supply along with a special 200 mm fan, which creates a clean vortex of air to cool the board. Silverstone has stuffed a Radeon HD 5970 in there along with a Zotac H55 board and an i7-860. Their engineers have gone into great detail to manage air flow and to keep temperatures in the green. On the bottom of the chassis a plastic divider blocks hot air from reaching the PSU, while the side panel sports a foam ring, which can be aligned to seal off the GPU fan and thus only give it access to cool, outside air. The case will carry a premium price tag, but offers features no other ITX case out there does at the moment.

Chieftec Shows Off Passive ITX Chassis And Beer Dispensing Case

We also dropped by the Chieftec booth and they have some nice enclosures on display. The most interesting one is the ITX case with large heatsinks on both sides, which are attached to heatpipes. These in turn cool the CPU and chipset of an Atom ION board. Due to the inability to accommodate the different board layouts, Chieftec will be offering these cases to OEMs who will then also receive a custom cooling solution to fit the mainboard they are using. The case also features a Soundgraph VFD and slot for a slim-line optical drive. We were also witness to a computer case which dispenses beer when needed. What else could you ask for?

Scythe Shows Off Case With Leather Front And New Cooler

Scythe is showing off numerous new cases, one of which has a spiffy leather front. While the chassis at CeBIT features a black patch of the material, we could see other colors happen (like pink for the ladies?). The chassis not yet ready for market, while the other enclosures which feature a clean look & feel are ready to go shortly. All of these are aimed at the mainstream market with very affordable price points.

Xigmatek Readies Utgard Mid-Tower Case

Cooling products specialist Xigmatek is readying a new PC case for early 2010, the Xigmatek Utgard. This all-black ATX mid-tower case includes black interiors. It has nine 5.25" drive bays with perforated metal bezels that let them double up as air intakes. There are internal (probably detachable) 3.5" drive cages. Apart from the usual salad of USB, audio and eSATA ports, the front-panel holds a 2-channel fan controller. Apart from the rear 120 mm exhaust fan, the case seems to have exhausts on the top, along with provisions for more fans on the side panel. The PSU bay is located at the bottom of the motherboard tray. Other details are yet to surface, though more about this case could surface at the upcoming CES event.

Chieftec Unveils BT-02B Mini-ITX Tower Case

Chieftec unveiled its first mini-ITX PC case, the BT-02B. This mini-ITX tower measures 240 x 135 x 295 mm, and weighs 2.85 kg (about 6.28 lbs), and sports a formal look, best suited for space-constrained office desks. It packs enough space for one 5.25" drive bay, an internal 3.5" bay for HDDs, and has a front IO panel with USB and audio ports. The BT-02B comes with a 180W ATX power supply, sufficient for the typical mini-ITX PC. The lone expansion card slot accommodates full-height cards. The case should be out soon.

Thermaltake Launches V3 Black Edition Mid-Tower Case

Thermaltake, leading DIY chassis brand, launches the newest mid-tower PC case in their V-Series for value-conscious users.
