Domain Registration Sparks Grand Theft Auto VI Announcement Rumors

A March 23 website domain name registration update by Take-Two Interactive, publishers of the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise, sparked rumors of an imminent "Grand Theft Auto VI" announcement. The registered domain "GTAVI.com" is now a placeholder for what could be an exclusive site for the upcoming chapter in the wildly popular open-world action RPG franchise.

Much has been talked about GTA VI in recent years, such as rumors of the game having the largest open world ever in the franchise, including the ability to transport between the various fictional cities in the GTA universe via fast-travel points at airports. With GTA V, Rockstar introduced the concept of multiple playable characters, each with its unique set of missions, and some interesting joint missions where you switch between the playable characters. The introduction of cities spread across the landmass could only take this concept further.

Weather effects will probably be optimized for RDNA2 'intersection engines', sadly it won't be at near the level of RTX if the underwhelming demo is any indication

I hope Rockstar kills the gameplay format of GTA-V and reverts to classic style gameplay of older games. Also bring back Vice city.

I personally could care less about Physx, hasn't impressed me yet. I take that back, the Star Wars cinematic impressed me, but no game has. Metro Exodus RTX turned on was lackluster at best in comparison videos. I am fine with rolling Big Navi 2

Then why did they limit RDR2 to 60 fps? Please explain to me how the most profitable game company in the entire world was not able to give us 144 fps for its newest release game when I have games from 15 years ago that run great at 144 fps. lol mmk

They weren't able to give us a properly running PC port to begin with and you don't even have to compare it to GTA V.

I can only imagine - storing all weapons in the trunk of you car, overheating the engine by holding the trigger too long, going to get your car washed for it to handle better. And of course taking eternity for every action to occur after pressing a button.

Cannot wait.

This proves nothing. They're holding onto so a squatter doesn't grab the domain and hold it for ransom. It was going to expire in two months so the renewed it. Don't even know how a story was built around this.

They also updated GTAVII and GTAVIII. They do not own GTAIX and so on, so I guess we can expect three more games within our lifetimes, unless they do what they did with the original 3D trilogy.

No fraking way! GTA5 gameplay is good. I want to see a refinement of that.
