Not old news, The first release dated 17.04.2007 was posted by Jimmy 2004 here one week ago, but these were BETA. Now the updated release from 26.04.2007 is final and WHQL certified.

so these are their final vista drivers that are working and no longer beta right? If so, it only took them what, 6 months to get them out? Hmm, not too bad, considering the delays of ATI. Guessing Nvidia though it was more important to show a kick ass card then get the beta feedback. Actually, not a bad move (read: From an ATI Fanboy giving the comp. some mad props!)

nvidia is continuously improving their drivers and we can't say that these are/are not what we've been w8ing for. Anyways, these drivers DO pack MORE punch than EVER in all the performance tests I did on my frnd's comp...and I'm blown away. In many games it gives 25-35% fps gain!! wicked! And poor ol ATI *cough* AMD can't finish off drivers AND the cards AND the next processor 'defeating' C2D :wtf:
whatsup amd ?

Although the drivers fix the fogging issue on Source games for 8800 users, this new driver causes problems for some with the video playback on the 8800GTS. I guess it's a bit of a trade-off... better game performance or better looking video playback :shadedshu
