NVIDIA Releases DLSS 3.7.0 With Quality E Preset for Image Quality Improvements
Yesterday, NVIDIA released the latest version of its Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) 3.7.0. The newest version promises to improve image quality. Among the most notable additions is the now default "E" quality preset. This builds upon the previous DLSS versions but introduces noticeably sharper images, generally improved fine detail stability, reduced ghosting, and better temporal stability in general compared to DLSS 3.5. It has been tested with Cyberpunk 2077 in the YouTube video with the comparison between DLSS 3.5.10, DLSS 3.6.0, and the newest DLSS 3.7.0. Additionally, some Reddit users reported seeing a noticeable difference on Horizon Forbidden West at 1440p.
Generally, the DLSS 3.7.0 version can be a drop-in replacement to the older DLSS versions. Using DLSS Tweaks, or even manually, users can patch in the latest DLSS 3.7.0 DLL and force games that weren't shipped initially or updated to support the latest DLSS 3.7.0 DLL file. We have the latest DLL download up on our Downloads section on TechPowerUp, so users can install DLSSTweaks and grab the desired file version on our website.

Tbh after ~30+ hours played with Forbidden West and DLSS on Quality 'I've updated to the latest DLSS dll' I can maybe point out a few things that are worse with DLSS at my resolution but the funny thing is.
Those specific things look meh/bad even at native so basically crap in crap out. 'Aloy's holo/energy shield glider and the dust tornadoes and some water reflections are pixelated even w/o ANY upscaling + maxed settings'
Personally I prefer to play at higher settings with DLSS Quality than lowering my settings and play at native which often looks worse to me anyway.
Ever since I've bought my 3060 Ti in 2022 september I've pretty much used DLSS Quality in every single game that I've played and it had a support for it, nowadays I instantly enable it after starting up a new game and then I make some personal comparisons between native/check the upscaling implementation quality and then decide how I'm gonna play the game. I did ran into some questionable implementations or with dated DLSS versions shipped with the game but then I just switched the dll file and that worked out most of the time. 'so basically if a game had DLLS then TAA never won me over'
At the end of the day its still optional, like you said you wouldn't want it and thats perfectly fine but for me at this point its almost a must have and I prefer it this way.:) 'I only wish that AMD would step up their FSR game cause upscaling is a selling point to me as a ~mid range user'

you sound like the ppl complaining when a +300K gets announced, about the cost of ownership (maintenance, gas, insurance),
while not owning one yourself.
part of capitalism is to have options, doesnt mean i will ever sour it for someone else because they bought one brand (over another),
"as you didn't get told to bend over and no lube is used", its up to wallet owner, to determine what they spend THEIR money on.
if you dont like a brand, fine, doesnt mean everyone else needs to stop buying ..
@Sithaer
that's the thing, just because you dont notice it doesnt mean no one, especially given we dont all play the same staff.
once you played a shooter with fixed (smaller) map dimensions like Siege, you have enough time to look at stuff,
usually in just one direction (unless its pvp), and visuals are part of the reason i play on pc..
anything to taxing for my gpu, i rather drop res to QHD, and usually gain more fps anyway, panel is still 4K, so ..
