I wouldn't mind playing this if I could find a story summary of everything FFVII before this, nice and concise. I don't have time to catch up on all of it at this point otherwise.

You can google it but it doesn't take that long to run through.

You NEED a 7900XTX or 4080 for ULTRA!?…

The start of the game kinda summarized what happened before in a few minutes. No need to play the first one, but you will miss out on character developments, which is a key thing in a RPG. Honestly not much happens in the first Episodes besides telling a story of why they are all on the same main quest.

Rebirth is much harder too on normal mode. First game (Remake) I died once at the final boss battle, Rebirth, pretty much every boss the first time.

Honestly it's very worth playing through and if you skip the side stuff and play on easy it doesn't take long. Also can be played decently on the steam deck. It was definitely my favorite game the year it came out.

Yeah I did absolutely everything on my first playthrough and it was just over 30hrs. Without all the sidequests, its more like 20hrs or shorter if on Easy Mode. Rebirth I'm 90hrs in and half way through the main story (chapterwise).

That’s some jump in GPU requirements between Recommended and Ultra. Then again, they are making a weird jump themselves between 1080p60 Medium and fucking 4K60 Ultra.

As we all know there are only two sides:

You are either a 1080p60 pleb or an 4k60 enjoyer.

Choose wisely which side you are on!

Great news. Wishlisted, with that 30% discount looks like I'll preorder.

The only con I can see is they say "overall rendering of light is significantly improved" but that screen shot Cloud has a plastic looking face.

Showing your PC game supports VRR is like driving an automobile on rubber tires.

I'm Not familiar with the new ff7 games. Do you have to start over at level 1 each time or can you port your characters between titles?

I guess it's time to once again to have compromises for running a new game. Remake Intergrade fan great at 4K60 with 6700 XT...
