Crazy 4 TPU!!!
TheGuruStudOdd. Although, I didn't try it with 11.9, but 11.10 preview 1 and 2 it runs great, but still suffers from the textures not always being full resolution when looking at a new area (texture pop in I guess).

Video card is at about 50% usage and it's a solid 60 fps. Only dips below that on big explosions directly in my face. Obviously, a very poorly optimized game. I don't think it should take but about 25% of the gpu to display those low res textures.

But what else is new. :(
Ya ive heard that RAGE pretty much needs the 11.10 drivers and above to run optimally, sadly the texture pop in problem even existed when i was running RAGE on my GTX 470, so im not sure how they'll get that fixed (probably some sort of patch at some point).

I definitely think they could of refined the PC version a lot more.:shadedshu

TheLaughingManThey do. Win8 itself is not exactly the most optimal place to be playing your games though. Some of the features get in the way of gameplay by preventing fullscreen mode in some titles.
Thnx LaughingMan :D I have not come across any issues yet on 8 with games, but I am only playing WoW and EA NHL 2009 on it. WoW in particular runs great and alt + Tabs very quick to desktop. NHL i did have screen issues but I used the Auto button on my monitor to correct the display to full screen.

Installed these drivers, OpenGL games don't work.

I installed these drivers cuz the old ones ran RAGE like shit (I have a 6850). Well it runs fine now (besides freezing at loading screens every once in awhile), but game play is smooth. Only one problem... Games that utilize OpenGL don't work... Games like Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Minecraft. Hell, even Doom 3... every time I try to boot them, my pc will lock up, screen will go black, and come back because my drivers stopped working and then recovered (which yes is the error message I get). All better though once I go back to the 11.9 drivers! What a pain in the ass... I hope new drivers come out soon lol. Anyone else run into this problem?

InnocentCriminalOdd. Rage is an OpenGL game.
Not odd. Carmack said in an interview that there was a great driver for Rage, but it broke many other apps.
