Xbox Updates Its Lineup of Platform Exclusive Games: Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, Starfield, and More

Microsoft's console and gaming division, Xbox, has been working closely with game studios and game developers for years now, and in return for supporting the creation of games, the company gets its platform exclusivity, where the game is only available on Xbox series of consoles. Today, Xbox has decided to unveil a hefty list composing out of AAA titles exclusive to the Xbox Series X|S consoles. Starting off, we have the Forza Horizon 5 game, which delivers the experience of the open world of Mexico, while allowing you to drive the world's greatest cars. The game is set to become available on November 9 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, PC via Steam on Windows, and Cloud Gaming service, which is in Beta.

Next up is a collaboration with 343 Industries game studio, which has unveiled its next-generation Halo shooter gameplay. Dubbed Halo Infinite, the game is a massive experience set in the world of Halo, which also includes a free-to-play multiplayer element aiming to bring millions of people together across Xbox consoles, cloud, and PC to join the fight. When it comes to new franchises, we have seen the announcement of Redfall, a co-op first-person shooter that sets you in a small island town of Redfall, which has now fallen to the pandemic of vampires, and your goal is to put it to the end. Coming from Arkane Austin, the developers of Prey and Dishonored, the game is sure to be a quality one.
Another big Xbox exclusive game is called Starfield. This is the first new game universe in 25 years of Bethesda Game Studios game development. It is a role-playing game set in stars, which allows you to explore the open world to "answer humanity's greatest mystery". It is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC, utilizing the latest generation of hardware. The game is coming on November 11th of 2022, when you will be able to play and explore its universe.
A surprise today came in a form of a game sequel, that left many of us very happy. The popular game S.T.A.L.K.E.R is getting a sequel in form of a S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chernobyl. Set as a post-apocalyptic first-person shooter, the game is an immersive simulation of a horror scene. All choices you make through the journey will influence your future and your character's life depends on making the right choice. The game is supposed to arrive on April 28th, 2022.

iirc Stalker 2 is not made by the same team, those guys jumped ship after mis-management and are making the metro games and I must say, the trailer does not give off the right vibes for me, a wrong atmosphere.

Yes, you can't play FPS at all on a console. That's why HALO isn't one of the most popular series of games on Xbox.

Halo is popular only I think because it is arcade shooter. Run n gun.

Come off it...
I'm also primarily a PC/M&K guy but I recognize that controllers are a viable and/or preferable option for many people. Stop acting all high and mighty.

Halo mainly is popular because the first game brought modern FPS controls to a streamlined console market (which is also why the original Xbox succeeded at all), the second practically invented online matchmaking with Xbox Live, and the third was just a really refined and outstanding shooter released at the peak of argubably the best console generation.
It being an arcade-ish shooter also helped it fit in with the general audience, sure, but it's not the reason for its popularity. A combination of excellent timing, innovation and talent is why.

Do you own a console? Does it affect you? If not, what's your point? Or are you just trolling?

No need for passive agressive stance, I am just saying, FPS games are a joke on consoles, RTS are a no go. A lot of games are just arcadic, nothing to rant about, this is the way with consoles, no harm.

Its just a weird things to mention man, plenty of people play fps games on consoles just fine and have done so for years, entire tournaments are played that way for real money.
Even if a gamepad would be sub optimal, everyone playing on them is playing with that same sub optimal method so it evens out.
Should we comment on your nameless mouse and keyboard and say you are a joke for playing PC games on such generic hardware and not some super duper high dpi gaming mouse and mechanical keyboard? or do you recognise its just silly?

idk comments like yours just scream frustration and insecurity to me.

Maybe the language barrier to blame, I would explain way better in my language.

In animal language? FPS games with gamepad are just fine and been fine for years. On series X with more shooters starting/already having 120 fps mode even more so. Stop whining if you can't play good on sticks.

Why? Halo and a lot of other FPS are great on consoles (especially the xbox as it has a very good controller).
Arcade? FPS are as arcade on PC as on consoles, you don't magically auto heal, or have floating crosshair... Etc

really? the focus on action rather then the depressing atmosphere and odd story, the way its a borderline tutorial on anomalies rathern the treating them as they are, odd dangers of the zone, idk I was not feeling it at all from this.
Ever saw the movie its kinda based on called "Stalker"? that combined with the story of chernobyl, that is what the game is like for me.

This looks more like the CoD devs made a Stalker game then an actual Stalker 2 to me
