I'd be even happier if Biostar fitted a 10GbE chipset instead of the slower Realtek 2.5GbE chipset. I gave up trying to get the RTL8125B on my new X670-E mobo to work on the LAN. Despite updating to the latest Realtek drivers, it continued to drop connection when transferring large files. Of course the RTL8125B might be incompatible with my old 10GbE switch, but the switch works fine with faster Asus XG-C100C NICs.

Other people have similar problems with Intel's 2.5GbE I225-V and I226-V chipsets. Considering the customer price for the I225-V is only $2.87 on the Intel web site, you'd think a few more motherboard manufacturers would fit 10GbE chipsets, even if most people have no use for them yet. It would avoid potential issues with the RTL8125B and I225-V/I226-V, but perhaps 10GbE chipsets are equally troublesome. I wish I'd saved a few cents and bought a motherboard with an old-fashioned Gigabit chipset instead of the 2.5BGbE RTL8125B, then upgraded with a plug-in 10GbE NIC.
