Payday 3 Post Launch Plans Revealed with Year 1 Roadmap
Hello heisters, we hope you're having a wonderful week - and if you're not, we have some cool news for you to dig into when it comes to Payday 3! This is the much anticipated sequel to one of the most popular co-op shooters ever. Since its release, Payday-players have been reveling in the thrill of a perfectly planned and executed heist. That's what makes Payday a high-octane, co-op FPS experience without equal.

We're nearing the launch date on September 21 (Early Access on September 18), but today we wanted to give you a glimpse of what's to come for Year One of Payday 3 and its future content. Besides 4 DLCs, with names yet to be fully determined, we'll also look at seasonal events, playable characters, new enemy, weapons, Unreal Engine 5 upgrade, cosmetics, quality of life improvements, new features and much more. Last week you got a first look at the two additional playable characters in PAYDAY 3, Pearl & Joy. Today we're giving you a first-hand look at how they will play and look like. Have at it!
Listen up gang, we have two additions joining in on your next heists. Joy makes a return to PAYDAY as the groups' hacker, while Pearl brings a new flair of magnificence to the team. Play as either of these heisters at the launch of PAYDAY 3 on September 21.
Other than that, we hope you're as hyped as we are for the launch which is only two weeks away!

Payday 2 was great but man did it get hammered with mediocre updates to the point where it alienated me completely.
The problem with this version for me is that it barely looks like anything has been improved, it looks like a game from 15 years ago in just about every single way.
And, but I guess thats a me problem, I loved in payday 2 to be the profesional, stake out the place and sneak, get the loot and leave without a single bullet, that was the art, that was the challenge.
But I guess most want to just shoot like soooo many other games allow you to do....just the focus on the combat in these trailers has me worried for what I want this game to be.
I played a lot of missions on Payday2 including in Lan mode with my friends. But I have since taken a stance that I will no longer give any of my precious time to broken monetizing scheme games.
Hard pass.
PAYDAY 3's biggest changes compared to the previous titles is actually the combat system & general mechanics. A lot more to think about ingame.
