NVIDIA DLSS Coming to CoD: MW III, Desynced, Rogue City, and More Games

This week, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Jusant, RIPOUT, RoboCop: Rogue City, and The Talos Principle 2 all launch with day-one support for DLSS 3, giving GeForce RTX 40 Series gamers the fastest frame rates possible at the highest settings and resolutions.

Additionally, RIPOUT just entered Early Access with DLSS 3, Desynced is adding support for DLSS 3 in the near future, EA SPORTS WRC launches this week with DLSS 2, and NVIDIA Omniverse has just added support for DLSS 3.5 and Ray Reconstruction. This bumper selection of anticipated releases follow last week's launch of Alan Wake 2, featuring full ray tracing, DLSS 3.5, Ray Reconstruction, and NVIDIA Reflex.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Launches Into Early Access November 2nd With DLSS 3 and Reflex
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III campaign early access begins November 2nd for all pre-purchases, with the full release following on November 10th.

In the cinematic campaign, Captain Price and Task Force 141 face off against the ultimate threat, the ultranationalist war criminal Vladimir Makarov, who's extending his grasp across the world, causing Task Force 141 to fight like never before. Once you've dug into the action-packed single-player campaign, head online to defeat Zombies in an exciting open-world co-op experience that takes the Zombies mode everyone knows and loves to the next level. If you prefer Multiplayer, dip into the selection of Core Multiplayer maps from the 16 iconic launch maps of 2009's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 that are being brought over and modernized for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

NVIDIA Omniverse Upgrades To DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction Today
NVIDIA Omniverse USD Composer is a fully customizable app for OpenUSD world-building that allows users to assemble, light, simulate, and render large scale scenes collaboratively, locally and online.

Previewing content in the viewport, even with high-end hardware, can sometimes offer less than ideal image quality as traditional denoisers require hand-tuning for every scene.

With DLSS 3.5's new Ray Reconstruction, the AI neural network recognizes a wide variety of scenes, producing high-quality images during preview significantly reducing the amount of time normally committed to rendering scenes, often hours.

NVIDIA Omniverse and the USD Composer app - featuring the Omniverse RTX Renderer - specializes in real-time preview modes - with ray tracing inferring and producing higher-quality previews while building and iterating.

The NVIDIA Omniverse DLSS 3.5 upgrade with Ray Reconstruction is available now, making preview viewports more accurate, and fully rendered scenes even more realistic and immersive. Enable it by opening "Render Settings" under "Ray Tracing," then opening the "Direct Lighting" tab and ensuring "New Denoiser (experimental)" is turned on.

I vote for a reverse, lets mention high profile games that dont get DLSS instead, we can assume that Nvidia's marketing machine is pushing DLSS on any and everything.

I would like to pay for performance not artificial image - fake that causes various defects. I have no intention of paying for upscaling etc. issues. Nvidia only gave us a fragment of the systems individual RTX 40XX were deprived of the same parameters and size compared to their predecessors, and the prices remained the same or went up. What's worse, the previous series did not receive support. Just a middle finger for that.
Even when we got supposedly more RT core etc - as you can see without DLSS and FG, none of the cards allows you to play in 4K and even 2K when playing on High/Ultra. Third series and the only way to support RT is DLSS and RT?!

Yep this is the reason why I did not buy one of the newer cards. If Nvidia thinks software and speed up games and not hardware then why have the hardware in the first place. I still run twin 1080Ti's in SLI and can play most of these games at 4k with some settings tweaked 100 FPS easy. I do not use AA period. the 1000 series the biggest push to 4k gaming and then it went back to 1440p that is a step backwards.

Look at it without DLSS the image looks clear and background much sharper. But only 69 FPS like seriously Pay over 2 grand for a video card to get 69 FPS without DLSS and pure hardware. My 1080's can render that at 100 FPS at 4k easy. I know SLi is dead but seriously if you want to game at 4k or even 8k is now comming out a single card cannot even make the grade.

We went from single card in the 90's to SLI in the 3dfx days back to single cards then nvidia took over 3dfx and ATI came out with crossfire it was gaming bliss then back to single cards again. The motherboard companies followed the video card companies and now you hardly see twin slots for PCI-e also microsoft ruined it with DX12 which is a total joke.

It was like a big middle finger to true hard core gamers.

But I saw this comming when microsoft came into the console gaming with xbox. They wanted to slowly ruin PC gaming so you switch to xbox.

I used to get about 80FPS with Lumen (software mode) and Nanite with DLSS quality @ 1440p on a 3080. Hardware would average at 65 but had drops with particle effects 3.5 would probably help RT performance a decent bit. (talking about ray reconstruction NOT fake frames)
