I had a go at metal slug tactics demo and the gameplay itself is okayish, I had it wishlisted since last year but changed my mind I don’t think it will be a good tactics game

Ah a shame the new Metro game is a VR game. I love the Metro game series and have played all up to Metro Exodus.

But VR is not my thing. So sadly this Metro game will be a pass.

I love the FMS franchise! I never thought the game would get done in a Turn-based tactics way.

I agree. I didn't find the demo al that fun. On top of that, while they did put in a commendable effort to recreate that retro charm, I still feel they're out of touch with the originals. It's just not good enough and not fun enough.

A really nice choice of games from smaller studios this week @TheLostSwede

Touch Type Tale gets my vote for blending different genres with innovative mechanics:

I love tactics and pixel art. I'm eager to try out the Metal Slug game, too:

Also, Empire of the Ants has me intrigued and looks great. Maybe that 7900XTX will finally be put to good use:

AAA gaming can kiss my... :D

Empire of Ants looks to fall into the category of games like Stray with elements of other games used to enhance the experience. Will be watching it how users and reviwers like it.

Metro VR? Ya no thanks.
I'll wait for METRO 4, the continuation from Metro Exodus Non VR.
