- EX-03 Prototype 3—Includes a rubber underlayer for insulation. Handy, really, as this prototype's wires operate at a shocking 400,000 volts.
- EX-16 Prototype 16—Warning: Electric arc generates a strong magnetic field. Avoid use while near stapled paperwork.
- EX-00 Prototype X—The end result of several billion Super Credits and 12 years of research into creating "the Soldier of Tomorrow". Show us it was worth it.
Shock & Awe with an Expanded Arsenal
R&D didn't stop at armour, though. They're also rolling out a new series of alien-splitting weapons with electrifying perks!
- LAS-16 SICKLE—A sweet laser rifle that fires in short bursts. And it doesn't need reloading. Just watch for overheating or shove a new heatsink in there.
- SG-8P PUNISHER PLASMA—Exploding plasma rounds sound deadly… because they are, to aliens and allies! This modified Punisher shotgun is as fun as it is fearsome.
- ARC-12 BLITZER—Project an arc of close-range lightning, or charge it up to fire off powerful bolts. Good for taking out multiple targets and giving you more time to pick a celebration emote.
There are even matching player cards for each cape, as well as three new emotes. Cutting Edge is rolling out to your Destroyer's Acquisitions panel March 14, soldiers.

If you're specifically talking about the blip today when they enabled the mechs, yeah 450,000 people all launching a game within the same 30 minute window to go play with the new toy caused a brief hiccup. Oh no, 15 minutes of downtime while they fixed it. That certainly isn't a problem that any other game has ever had in the history of ever.

With good placed shots a single mech can kill those 4 chargers and 3 bile titans
edit: i love the game but it has its bugs... hehe

At the moment I don't feel the items behind the premium warbonds are really any better than what you can get in the normal warbonds. Guess we wait and see what the future holds.
Biggest issues right now is the balance pass kind of killed the higher difficulties. They also tweaked some of the AI and maps to make it impossible to set up any kind of defensive position. So, they overtuned it like most devs do.
Was kinda silly seeing so many people using their little railguns to kill tougher enemies with ease
And i gotta say mechs are excellent against bugs especially when defending at extraction for example
edit: on crashes i got a lot of them when game came out then was fine and after latest update i have some rare crashes again (rtx 4090) so thats kinda a bummer besides the server issues
Level 7 difficulty on bugs, bit of a challenge for 3 people, but certainly doable. Just unlocked level 8, but I haven't tried it yet.
As for the railgun, I haven't seen one person use in all the matches I've ran since the change. I tried it once and it sucks now so I don't even bother with the railgun anymore. The problem I see with it is it's not powerful enough (without a great chance to blow up on you) to damage half the creatures due to armor and it shoots too slow for you to take the time to try and power it up for a single shot that still requires 4+ shots to take down a medium armored charger. You're now taking longer to charge for a shot to possibly damage the target, you have to try and visually watch the power meter on the gun so you don't blow yourself up and with it still being so slow to reload it's just kind of a crap weapon now. It doesn't really have a place anymore.
People have shifted to the arc thrower and recoilless rifle for harder hitting weapons. I don't know if they have a way to make the railgun better than it is now without, according to them, being overpowered again.
I've seen a lot of people no longer using the Breaker as a primary, too. They've moved on to the Breaker Incendiary for a shotgun. It has a shorter range over the Breaker, but it with the wider spread and incendiary rounds it tends to chew through the bugs better.
Using a mech against the automatons is a hit or miss venture. You're now a bigger target and it is so much easier for them to hit you with a rocket or two and you blow up. Using them against bugs almost feels like it makes the missions too easy. Lots of ebb and flow going on here, I wonder if they get a better balance between things without mucking it up more.
