Reeven RECC-01 Extreme Cooling Cup Launched
First unveiled this January, Reeven's extreme-cooling pot (model: RECC-01) launched in various markets. In Japan, it is being marketed by Scythe. Measuring 70 x 70 x 160 mm (WxDxH), and weighing 900 g, the RECC-01 is a liquid nitrogen or dry-ice evaporator. Aluminum makes up most of its body, while nickel-plated copper makes up its base. Its base dissipation surface has 18 circular pits. An AEROFLEX polymer insulation sleeve is included. Also included are a retention module supporting Intel sockets LGA2011, LGA1155/LGA1156, LGA1366 and LGA775; and AMD sockets FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2; and a thermal probe port. It is priced at 19,980 JPY (US $242).

... wonder what the extremists will think of this.
is it me or have they been skimpy with the sock?
Now if I cared...
If you don't care, why post exactly? To share your apathy? Isn't that going against what apathy is?

At $250, I'd much rather have an F1 Gemini Rev 2.
Of course, both of those pots would be similar in performance as far as fast base for the Gemini vs this...Gemini offers more flexibility with other bases.
Many combinations you can use such as:
Art eraser
Conformal spray/brush coating
paper/shop towels
tape pipe insulation
round pipe insulation
flat pipe insulation
cloths...
etc.
LN2 storage containers (dewars) cost between $300-900 second hand to new. You can get them filled at welding supply stores or medical gas stores.
Usually between $1 USD and $3 USD / litre depending on country and location. Some people can get it as cheap as $.50c or .5 euro / L... 25L is enough for a single person and a night or two...
:)
Why do we build racecars with 900hp?
To go fast! :slap:
-190c + MHz and -30c + MHz are not the same level of fast.
IDK I don't like how small that base is, maybe its good for Celerons.
