lexluthermiesterBy the lack of massive numbers of people complaining about it in the GOG forums. Whenever something does wrong that's where they go to complain. That hasn't happened so it is unlikely that most people are seeing the problems beyond the graphical glitches.

Is there a reason why you're being so aggressive? Please stop.
Even though GoG is just a subset of the sold copies and unlikely to be the storefront with the biggest reach...

I'm slightly annoyed by the way you state things as facts when the actual truth is right in front of us, and then even when presented this truth, you remain convinced of your own perception :) Other than that... non issue so let's move on... I rather think a lot of people really just don't bother complaining (=effort), they load their save and play said sequence again, or just play past it, or just 'do not get' parts of the gameplay at all. It is a somewhat dynamic open world shooter after all.

Its similar to Skyrim right. The game's full of bugs, and it was far worse for a long time too, but you could certainly play the game. The immediate fix for anything was really just loading a save and praying the engine didn't screw up again. Which, for its lack of consistency, was often true.

QuicksI get what you're saying but 99% games using UE currently runs like dogshit if you don't have top of the range system.

Either developer don't bother fine tuning performance due to crap like frame gen and upscaling, or the engine is just not so user friendly to customise. Sure it's getting better, but by the time is actually good, we might have UE 6 and the process starts all over again.
Even if you have a top-range system, you're still going to rely on upscaling from my experience. Even if the engine isn't specifically at fault I have seen a grand total of two games that are well optimized out of the dozen or so I've tried.

That's...kind of how it works? It took until the tail end of Unreal Engine 4's lifecycle for devs to take full advantage of it, as I said. Sure it'll be the same with UE5 but that's kind of what happens when almost every single game currently out that uses UE 5 is running either UE5.0 or 5.1. Not a single game aside from Infinity Nikki uses anything newer.
